Link Generation: How to change rules, scoring, and notifications of the exam

This article explains how to change the exam details (Exam rules, Scoring, and Notifications) in Dashboard.

Note: Editing exam parameters via the Dashboard only makes sense when you’re using Link Generator. With this integration type, the only way to change the parameters of an exam (scoring, notifications, etc.) is via the Dashboard.

In order for the exam to display in the Dashboard, generate a one test link in the Enrol page and click the URL to start the exam.

Generating a test link

Wait for the Constructor Team to create an exam on their site at your request. Then generate a link as usual:

1. Go to the Enrol page and find the exam using Ctrl+F (on Windows) or Command+F (on macOS).
2. Upload the XLSX file and click Enrol. To easily distinguish test sessions from real sessions in the general list of exam sessions, create an appropriate username and email name.
   Note: The email can be fake.

Editing exam details

1. Navigate to Dashboard > Exams.
2. Enter the exam name in the search field to find the exam in the list and click the number or name of the exam:

4. Scroll down the page to change the exam rules, scoring, or notifications by clicking on the appropriate tab:
