I get an incompatible video file error when uploading a video file. What should I do?
You can upload a video to the system to use in your Perculus Plus virtual classroom session and play this video during the lesson.
Incompatible Video File
After the warning "The video file you want to share does not comply with the specified limits:", the problem in the video is shown in red in the "Video Information".
Headings in Video Information:
- Title: This section contains the name of the video you uploaded. Solution: If the name of your video is written in red, you can provide a solution by removing the Turkish characters and punctuation marks in the name of your video. For example, you can change the name of the video to "123".
- Duration: This section contains the duration of the video you uploaded. You can't upload videos more than 30 minutes. Solution: If the duration of the video file is written in red, you can split the video file into parts that cannot exceed 30 minutes. You can use video converter programs for this.
- Bitrate: The 'Bitrate' value is very important for participants to watch your video in sync. You may not be allowed to share this value because it is above the limits. Solution: If the bitrate value of the video file is written in red, you can reduce the bitrate of your video by using video converter programs.
- Codec: Specifies the way your video is recorded, that is, its extension. Solution: If the codec of the video file is red text, you can convert it to the appropriate video codec format with video converter programs. Available formats; MP4, H264
- Audio: Indicates whether your video has sound. Solution: If the audio of the video file is red text, you can convert your video again with the video converter program.
- Audio Bitrate: The 'Bitrate' value is very important for the participants to watch your video in sync. You may not be allowed to share this value because it is above the limits. Solution: If the audio bitrate value of the video file is written in red, you can reduce the bitrate of your video by using video converter programs.
- Audio Codec: Specifies how your video's audio is recorded. Solution: If the audio codec of the video file is red text, you can convert it to the appropriate video codec format with video converter programs. Available formats; AAC, Opus, MP3
