Google Crome Screen Sharing Not Working on Ubuntu and Linux. What can I do?
On Ubuntu and Linux operating systems, some settings of Google Chrome may be turned off. In this case, there may be glitches or deficiencies in your use of some features.
To Activate the Google Chrome Screen Sharing Feature:
- Turn on your computer with Ubuntu or Linux operating system.
- Open your Google chrome or Chromium
- Type the following code in the address bar (url - link) of your browser.

- Click the Enter button.
- Click the search text box at the top of the page.
- Type the following text.
WebRTC PipeWire support
- Click the Default or Disable drop-down list to the right of the listed feature.
- Click Enable.
- The setting was saved as the selection was made.
- You can now screen share seamlessly on Google Chrome or Chromium browsers on Ubuntu and Linux operating systems.
