Basic Problems and Solution Suggestions

We are constantly developing and updating our Perculus Plus system. After the updates we perform, cache problems may occur depending on the user's computer. When you visit a website, your computer's browser stores the website files, anticipating that you might revisit the site at certain intervals. Despite changes and work done on the system, your computer will use previously stored data, performing preliminary operations based on that cached information.

In some cases, while our users experience no issues with virtual classroom access and server functions, delays can occasionally occur during the process due to browser cache, personal browser issues, or, very rarely, problems with the system connected to the server. Server-related problems are infrequent; however, if an issue escalates, it indicates a need for a new server. In such instances, we set up a new server and notify you to begin using it.

Troubleshooting Live Lesson Connection Issues
If you're having trouble connecting to a live lesson, please try reconnecting by following the steps below. You can resolve this issue using several methods. To access the system while bypassing stored data, use these steps:

If the virtual classroom takes longer than 15 seconds to load, refresh your browser using 'F5'.

If you still cannot join the virtual classroom after refreshing your browser, use the 'CTRL + F5' function to reload the site. This action clears all cookies in the cache and reloads the site.

You can clear your entire browser cache by going to settings button > History > Clear History in your browser.

You can log in to the system by ignoring stored cookies in the cache by using your browser in incognito mode.

Turn off your modem, wait 15 seconds, and then turn it back on. This resets your internet connection (IP Address). After this, try joining the virtual classroom.

Your network might have some access restrictions. To check this, try connecting to the virtual classroom using your phone's mobile internet. If this connection works without issues, apply firewall settings to your network. (Click for Settings.)

You can reset usage by clearing permissions or blocks you've granted. To do this while on the Perculus Plus screen, click the lock icon to the left of the link address (URL) at the top left. Click the site settings button, then click the reset permissions button.

Second clearing method: Click the three-dot icon at the top right of your browser. Click History > History. Click the Clear Browse data button. Click the Advanced button. Select "All time" for the time range. Uncheck all other boxes. Click the Site settings box and check it. Click the Clear data button. This will clear your settings and remove usage restrictions.

Internet Bandwidth Issues (COVID-19 Pandemic)
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, internet usage has increased globally, and internet service providers may have regionally reduced internet bandwidth. This can be either user-based or server-based. It's important to remember that internet problems you experience personally can, albeit rarely, be server-based.

If you suspect you're experiencing such a problem, try the following methods:

Close applications that stream data from the internet. If other people are using the internet, ask them to refrain from using it during the lesson.

If you're using a Virtual Private Network (VPN), close it during the lesson. After closing your VPN, use "CTRL+F5" to reload your page.

If you're using a Domain Name System (DNS), remove the DNS addresses during the lesson. After removing the DNS addresses, use "CTRL+F5" to reload your page.

Limit your virtual classroom webcam sharing to a single camera.

(In the Perculus Plus Virtual Classroom System, opening one webcam uses 100-200 Kbit/s of bandwidth, and opening one microphone uses 50 Kbit/s. Uploading is performed for the camera and microphone you open. This causes your network to use 150 Kbit/s in your upload speed. Other users using cameras and microphones are reflected on your network as downloads. As the number of users with cameras and microphones increases, your internet might not be able to handle the load. In such a case, having only the instructor use the camera will help prevent problems.)

If you don't frequently need to use your camera in the virtual classroom, you can continue the session by using only the microphone. This will save you 50-150 Kbit/s in bandwidth.

While message traffic bandwidth doesn't significantly affect overall performance, disabling general and private messaging in multi-user sessions can contribute to bandwidth savings.

We appreciate your understanding regarding any minor issues you may encounter.
