Camera access is denied
Symptoms
In the Proctor’s Room during a live-review exam, the learner’s camera feed is not visible, although the session has started.
The problem is shown in the screenshot below.
Cause
The browser or operating system is blocking access to the camera. The learner may have disabled camera permissions in the browser or system settings.
Resolution
Ask the learner to check the following:

Browser permissions: Make sure camera access is allowed for the site in the browser settings.

System settings: Ensure that the operating system allows browsers to access the camera (e.g., via Privacy settings on Windows or macOS).
After correcting settings, the learner should refresh the page and restart the system check. If the issue persists, advise restarting the browser or the computer.
