To take a proctored exam in Microsoft Edge, you must have cookies enabled. Follow these steps to ensure your browser settings are correctly configured.
Unblock cookies on a page
- Open the test page.
- Click Cookies in the address bar.
- Select "Site not working?":
- Click Allow cookies:
Enable cookies in Edge settings
- Enter edge://settings/content/cookies in the address bar and press Enter.
- Turn on "Allow sites to save and read cookie data"
- Turn off "Block third-party cookies":
- Restart the browser and reopen the exam.
Clear old cookies
- Enter edge://settings/siteData in the address bar and press Enter.
- Click Remove all:
- Restart the browser and try opening the exam again.
Check InPrivate mode settings
If you're using InPrivate mode (Ctrl + Shift + N), make sure "Always use 'Strict' tracking prevention when browsing InPrivate" is turned off in settings.
Try a different browser
If the issue persists, try using Google Chrome instead.
Note: Before opening the exam, close all other browsers.
