Even though I've watched past virtual classroom replays many times, the video keeps showing up with a red 'Not Complete' note. The percentage of watching lessons does not increase. What should I do?

While creating a virtual classroom activity, the instructor selects different completion criteria for the activity.

 

The criteria that can be selected for virtual class completion (Completion) are:

  • Live Participation: If the instructor selects "Live Participation" as the completion criterion, you must log in once while the virtual classroom is being taught live in order to complete the activity.
  • Live or Archive Participation: If the instructor selects "Live or Archive Participation" as the completion criterion, you must log in once while the virtual class is being taught live or rewatching in order to complete the activity.
  • Live Viewing Rate: If the instructor chooses "Live Viewing Rate" as the completion criterion and chooses a certain percentage, for example, "10%", in order to complete the activity, you must watch the virtual classroom live for 10% of the virtual classroom time while the virtual classroom is being taught live.
  • Live or Replay Rate: If the instructor chooses "Live or Replay Rate" as the completion criterion and chooses a certain percentage, for example, "10%", in order to complete the activity, you must watch the virtual classroom live or replay for 10% of the virtual class time while the virtual classroom is being taught live or rewatching.

 

In summary, your instructor has chosen "Live Participation" or "Live Viewing Rate" as the virtual class completion (completion) criterion. Therefore, your activity is not complete.

 

You can ask your instructor to edit the virtual classroom activity and select the completion criteria as "Live or Archive Attendance" or "Live or Replay Rate" and save it. After your instructor makes the change, your activity will be completed when you watch the virtual class again.

  • Assignment Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.), Upload File (Completed when you upload a file to the assignment.), Grading (Completed when your instructor grades the assignment you uploaded.)
  • E-Course Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.), Completed (The activity is completed when you view and watch all pages.), Grading (Completed when your instructor grades your activity.), Viewing Time (Completed when you finish the watch time set by your instructor.)
  • Exam Activity Completion Criteria: Completed (The activity is completed when you say finish the exam after viewing and answering all the questions.), Exam Grade (Completed when your instructor grades your activity.)
  • Forum Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.), Write Message (Completed when you send a message to the activity.)
  • Document Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.)
  • Survey Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.), Completed (The activity is completed when you click send the survey after viewing and answering all the questions.)
  • Virtual Classroom Activity Completion Criteria: Live Participation (If the instructor chooses "Live Participation" as the completion criterion, you must log in once while the virtual classroom is being taught live in order to complete the activity.), Live or Archive Participation (If the instructor selects "Live or Archive Participation" as the completion criterion, you must log in once while the virtual classroom is being taught live or rewatching in order to complete the activity.),  Live Viewing Rate (If the instructor chooses "Live Viewing Rate" as the completion criterion and chooses a certain percentage, for example, "10%", in order to complete the activity, you must watch the virtual class live for 10% of the virtual classroom time while the virtual classroom is being taught live.), Live or Replay Rate (If the instructor chooses "Live or Replay Rate" as the completion criterion and chooses a certain percentage, for example, "10%", in order to complete the activity, you must watch the virtual classroom live or replay for 10% of the virtual classroom time while the virtual classroom is being taught live or rewatching.)
  • Video Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.), Progress (The activity is completed when you finish the activity by the percentage determined as a percentage.), Grading (Completed when your instructor grades your activity.)
  • In-Class Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.), Grading (Completed when your instructor grades your activity.)
  • Link (Link 'URL') Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.)
  • Dictionary Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.)
  • LTI Activity Completion Criteria: View (Completed when you click on the activity.)
