      Access to accessibility is disabled in OS settings

        This article provides instructions on how to solve the issue when the first step fails with the error message "Access to accessibility is disabled in OS settings".

        Symptoms 

        Unable to start the exam because the system check has failed. The system has detected that the microphone on your computer is disabled.

        The problem is shown in the screenshot below.


        Cause

        Access to accessibility is disabled in OS settings.

        Resolution

        1. Go to the Apple menu >  Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
        2. Make sure the box next to the Constructor app is ticked:
          MacOSAccessibility
        3. After making all the changes, restart the Constructor app and open the exam.
