      Constructor LMS Release 107

      Overview

      In this release, we focused on backend tasks to enable the capability of splitting groups and classes into mini-groups for collaborative work on certain activities. These features are planned for release later this month.

      Additionally, we improved support for survey reporting and the composition editor.

      Improvements and fixes

      Improvements

      • We’ve enabled activity editing from the composition editor. Now authors can open any activity in a new tab for preview and editing. This way, they can easily review content before or after adding it to the composition.

      Fixes

      We've addressed the following issues:

      • Fixed inability to preview Raw HTML blocks.

      • Resolved logo display issues for certain tenants.

      • Corrected Media Block deletion causing reserved space and footer display errors.

      • Improved handling on slow internet connections to ensure the Continue button appears after starting a course.

      • Adjusted the Review button behavior with proctoring integration to correctly initiate review without unintended proctoring.

      • Fixed the missing Export button in Custom and Primary reports

      • Fixed occasional failure to display the "Finish the course" dialogue when pressed.

      • Restricted learner access to children of compositions in the Draft state.

      • SCORM packages could be added when the option for setting the window size was selected without setting any sizes.

      • Navigation and User menus were not translated when users changed the language settings.

      • Grade and score were incorrectly shown for Surveys.

      • Downloadable survey reports were available in all primary reports instead of only in Completed and Passed sections.

      • Renaming a Vimeo video is synced with the Composition editor.

      • Users could change the attachment name in Media Blocks, but the file downloaded with the original name.

      • Draft activities displayed their names even when the Show no activity names option was chosen for the composition.

      • Renamed the option to show groups in Primary reports (it was called “Groups and units”).

      • Activity names set to be hidden in compositions were displayed in “Finish the course” dialogs.

      Known issues

      • Sizes of attached files are shown only for newly-uploaded files.

      • A new toggle cannot be created within a toggle.

      • New members cannot be added to a newly created team without refreshing the screen.

      • The date and time selector sometimes does not fit on the screen in Reports.

      • When signing out from Avatar, a user is not signed out from LMS.

      • External links to cover images cannot be edited.

      • Error 401 occurs after an upload of a SCORM package is canceled and the second upload attempt is initiated. The page refresh is necessary to initiate the upload.

      • Settings applied for a specific SCORM version are not appropriately distinguished.

      • The “Not found” text is displayed when a learner attempts to start a quiz with a due date in the past.

      • The Customize Default View setting does not apply to the Collections filter.

      • Saving the default view doesn’t work when creating a new custom report.
