In short, what users in the role of trainers can do in the Eğitim 365 system
In the Eğitim 365 system, all the features and authorizations that users in the role of trainers can perform are listed in the simplest form as follows, while all the details are listed in the document.
General Powers
- Login to the System: They can log in with their own user information and reset their password.
- Language Selection: Can choose between Turkish, English and Arabic languages.
- Announcements and Notifications: Can view announcements and notifications sent by the system administrator or other users.
Course Management
- Course Listing: Can view the courses assigned to them.
- Course Content Management: Can add, edit or delete activities for courses.
- Adding Announcements: Can add announcements to courses and send them to students.
- Student List: Can view the information and progress of course learners.
- Creating a Transcript: Can create a chart by determining the grading rates of the activities in the course.
- Attendance with QR Code: You can take course attendance using QR code.
Activities
- Adding Activities: It can create activities such as forums, surveys, virtual classrooms, links, homework, e-lessons, exams, videos, documents, information notes and LTI.
- Activity Management: Can edit added activities, view and delete reports.
- Homework and Exam Evaluation: Evaluate and grade assignments and exams from students.
- Question Bank: Can add multiple choice, multiple choice, open ended, sorting and matching questions to be used in the exam activity.
- Reporting: Can report the status of participation and completion of the activity.
Communication and Interaction
- Forum Usage: Can participate in discussions by creating forums and respond to other users' messages.
- Sending Messages: Can send individual or group messages through the system.
- Announcement Management: Can add, view, and delete announcements.
Reporting & Analysis
- Receiving Reports: It can receive standard and detailed activity reports.
- Student Success Tracking: It can view the success status of students on the basis of courses and activities.
File Management
- File Upload: Documents to be used in courses can be uploaded to the system.
- File Download: Can download files uploaded by students or other instructors.
Profile & Preferences
- Profile Management: Can edit their own profile information.
- Preference Management: Can customize home tiles and change the system time zone.

- You can log in by typing the login and password information.

Viewing Announcements
- View announcements sent by the system administrator.

Access: Top Menu > Home > Home
My Courses section on the homepage
- Can view the current semester courses assigned to the instructor.
- Can view the total number of courses.
- He can use the "All" button on the main page where he can access all the courses assigned to him in my courses.
- Can view course names.
- Can view the main course names of the courses.
- He/she can view other instructors other than himself assigned to the courses he/she has been assigned.
- Can view the semester information of the course to which he/she has been assigned.
- In the courses to which he/she has been assigned, he/she can view the notifications of the activities whose deadline is approaching.
- It can view the percentage of completion of the course according to the progress of the students in the courses to which they are assigned.
- By clicking on the course name, you can access the course content page.
Timeline section on the homepage
- Can view the timeline.
- It can view the information of activities that are approaching the start date, started, approaching the deadline, starting in the future and finished activities within the timeline.
- By clicking on an activity in the timeline, it can access the course and week in which the activity is located.
- Can view the entire timeline by clicking the "All" button located in the timeline section.
On the homepage, tap the timeline page
- On the timesheet page, you can view information about activities that are approaching a start date, started, approaching a deadline, starting in the future, and finished.
- On the timesheet page, it can filter activities with quiz, assignment, virtual classroom, and all filtering.
Announcements Section on the Home Page
- It can view the announcements box on the homepage. (This box can be hidden and unlocked from profile months.)
- You can view the announcements in the announcements box on the homepage.
- You can view the announcements by clicking on the announcements in the announcements box on the homepage.
- By clicking the "All" button in the announcements box on the homepage, you can view the announcements page with all incoming and outgoing announcements.
My Messages section on the homepage
- It can display the My Messages box on the homepage. (This box can be hidden and unlocked from profile months.)
- It can view incoming messages in the My Messages box on the homepage.
- You can view and reply to the messages by clicking on the messages in the My Messages box on the homepage.
- By clicking the "All" button in the My Messages box on the homepage, you can view the messages page with all incoming and outgoing messages.
Forums Section on the Home Page
- It can display the forums tile on the homepage. (This box can be hidden and unlocked from profile months.)
- In the forums box on the homepage, you can view the forum and forum messages where the last message was sent.
- By clicking on the forum messages in the forums box on the homepage, they can view and respond to the messages of the relevant forum.
- By clicking the all button in the forums tile on the homepage, they can view the forums page with all the forums.
Virtual Classroom Section on the Homepage
- Can view the virtual classroom tile on the home page. (This box can be hidden and unlocked from profile months.)
- In the virtual classroom tile on the homepage, you can view the virtual classrooms whose start date is approaching.
- By clicking on the virtual classrooms in the virtual classroom box on the homepage, they can view the activity card of the relevant virtual classroom.
- By clicking the all button on the virtual classroom tile on the home page, you can view the timeline page where all virtual classrooms are filtered.
Exam Section on the Home Page
- You can view the exam box on the homepage. (This box can be hidden and unlocked from profile months.)
- In the exam box on the homepage, you can view the exams whose start date is approaching.
- You can view the activity card of the relevant exam by clicking on the exams in the exam box on the homepage.
- By clicking the all button in the exam box on the homepage, you can view the timesheet page where all exams are filtered.
Homework Section on the Home Page
- Can view the homework tile on the homepage. (This box can be hidden and unlocked from profile months.)
- In the assignment box on the homepage, you can view the assignments that are about to start.
- You can view the activity card of the assignment by clicking on the assignments in the assignment box on the homepage.
- By clicking the all button in the assignment tile on the home page, they can view the timesheet page where all assignments are filtered.
Poll section on homepage
- It can view the survey box on the homepage. (This box can be hidden and unlocked from profile months.)
- You can view the surveys sent in the survey box on the homepage.
- By clicking on the surveys in the survey box on the homepage, they can view and answer the relevant survey.
- My Courses Page
Access: Top Menu > My Courses > Go to My Courses > My Courses Page
In the My Courses Drop-Down section, the Ongoing tab (Student of the course)
- By clicking on the My Courses button, he/she can view the five most interacted courses in progress (courses to which he/she is added as a learner).
The Courses I Teach Tab in the My Courses Drop-Down section (Course Instructor)
- By clicking on the My Courses button, he can view the five most interacted courses that I teach (courses to which he is attached as an instructor).
In the My Courses Drop-Down Section, Instructor Archived Courses Tab
- By clicking on the My Courses button, the instructor can view the five most interacted with archived courses.
Accessing the Course Page from the My Courses Section
- After clicking the My Courses button, you can view the course pages by clicking on the names of the courses in the ingoing, I have taught, and instructor archived courses tabs.
My Courses Page
- You can switch to the My Courses page by clicking the Go to My Courses button under the My Courses button.
Filtering on the My Courses page
- In the filter section of the My Courses page, you can filter between courses according to the course name, semester and course status information.
Semesters on the My Courses page
- On the My Courses page, you can view the courses listed as active period, past semester and archived.
Courses Listed on the My Courses page
- In the listed course rows, the course name, course instructors, the main course of the course, the semester of the course, the number of branches, the add favorite button, the new activity notification icon, the activity notification icon with an upcoming completion deadline, the course announcement icon, and the course progress icon.
- By clicking on the favorite button of the listed courses, you can have the course listed at the top of the page.
- You can view the course branches by clicking on the drop-down button for the number of branches of the listed courses.
- By clicking on the displayed branch names of the listed courses, they can view the course page in the relevant branch of the course.
- Click on the name of the listed courses to view the course page.
- Course Page
Access: Top Menu > My Courses (Go to My Courses) / Home (My Courses > All) Clicking on the name of the course listed on the > page > Course Page
- Displays the course name at the top left of the course page .
- At the top right of the course page, you can view the total number of branches.
- By clicking on the branch selection drop-down list at the top right of the course page, he/she can select the other branches to which he/she has been assigned. (Each branch has its own course content, announcements, discussions, files, student list and other pages. New activities added on the course content page and new announcements created on the announcements page can be assigned to more than one branch.)
- You can access the course content page by clicking on the course content button at the top of the course page.
- You can access the announcements page by clicking the announcements button at the top of the course page.
- You can access the talk page by clicking on the discussion button at the top of the course page.
- You can access the files page by clicking the files button at the top of the course page.
- You can access the student list page by clicking on the student list button at the top of the course page.
- By clicking on the more button at the top of the course page, they can access the page with other features and adjustments.
4.1. Course Content Page
Note: Depending on the location selection, the information displayed may vary.
Access: Top Menu > My Courses (Go to My Courses) / Home (My Courses > All) Clicking on the name of the course listed on the > page > Course Content
Instructors Teaching the Course in the Course Content
- Can see all instructors listed at the top right of the course content page.
- They can send messages to other instructors of the course by clicking the send message button in the instructors section at the top right of the course content page.
Deadline for Course Content Completion
- On the right side of the course content page, you can view activities that are approaching their completion deadline.
- You can view the activity card of the relevant activity by clicking on the activities in the activities with an upcoming completion date section on the right of the course content page.
Course Announcements in Course Content
- Can view course announcements on the right of the course content page.
- Click on the relevant announcement in the announcements section on the right of the course content page to view the announcement details.
Activity Filtering in Course Content
- By clicking the filtering button at the bottom right of the course content page, they can filter the activities listed in the course content.
- You can change the sort criteria for the activities listed on the course content page by clicking the sort by drop-down list in the course content page filtering window and selecting Sort by name, sort by date created, and sort by start date.
- You can search the course content page by typing the course activity names in the activity search section of the course content page filtering window.
- In the course content page filtering window; By selecting the activity type "Survey, Information Note, Document, E-Course, Forum, Link, LTI, Homework, Virtual Classroom, Exam or Video", it can list the selected activity types.
Course Content Activities
- On the course content page, you can see that the activities are listed in the middle area, week by week or one after the other with the activities of all weeks, depending on the way they are listed.
Listing Format of Activities in Card View in Course Content
- By clicking on the card view button above the middle area where the activities are listed on the course content page, the middle area can be listed for only one week and the activity names are listed under the weeks in the curriculum section.
List Format of Activities in List View in Course Content
- By clicking on the list view button above the middle area where the activities are listed on the course content page, all weeks and activities in the weeks, including unplanned activities, can be listed in the middle area.
Renewal of the Activities Listed in the Course Content
- On the course content page, you can refresh the middle area where the activities are listed by clicking the refresh button above the middle area where the activities are listed.
Visibility of Passive Activities in Course Content
- By clicking the show passive button above the middle area where the activities are listed on the course content page, only the passive activities can be listed in the middle area where the activities are listed.
Curriculum in Course Content
- At the top left of the course content page, you can view the text of the syllabus and the number of activities to which the course has been added.
- The course content page can display the unplanned activities section listed one after the other in the syllabus section, the weeks (Units, Modules...), the start and end date of the week, and the number of activities added to the relevant week.
- By clicking on the weeks (unplanned activities, module, unit...) listed in the syllabus section on the course content page, it displays the activities added for the relevant week in the middle section where the activities are listed.
- By clicking on the weeks listed in the course schedule section on the course content page, the relevant week and its activities can be displayed.
- On the course content page, you can click on the activity names listed in the card view in the curriculum section while the card view is active, and you can display the relevant activity and activity card.
Adding Activities on the Course Content Page
- On the course content page, they can add a new activity by clicking the add activity (plus "+") button at the top right of the syllabus section.
4.1.1. Forum Activity
Access: Top Menu > My Courses (Go to My Courses) / Home (My Courses > All) Clicking on the name of the course listed on the > page > Course Page > Course Content > Syllabus > Add Activity (plus "+") > Forum Activity
Adding Forum Activity
- After clicking the plus button at the top left of the course content page, they can click the forum button to display the window for creating a new forum activity.
- On the branch selection tab of the forum activity page adding a forum, you can select one, multiple, and all branches and click the continue button.
- On the content tab of the forum activity adding page , they can enter the activity name, description (instructor's note), first forum message, first forum file, schedule (weekly-based or date-based post), activity completion criteria (viewing, message writing, or word count) and last completion date and click the continue button.
- On the page for adding a forum activity, you can ensure that the activity is always listed at the top in the week (unit, module...) in which the activity will be available, and you can add a prerequisite for the activity to be completed depending on the completion of another activity.
- Adding a forum activity can click the save button on the settings tab to publish the activity.
Forum Activity Pass
- Can view the forum activity card in the middle area of the course content page.
- You can change the activity name by clicking on the activity name at the top left of the forum activity card.
- At the bottom left of the forum activity card, the instructor can view the note (description) section.
- At the top right of the forum activity card, it can show that the activity type is forum.
- Hover over the calendar icon, if available, at the top right of the forum activity card, to view the last completion date of the forum activity.
- By hovering over the progress percentage circle at the top right of the forum activity card, the forum activity can display the completion criteria and the number of completions.
- By clicking on the three notes at the top right of the forum activity card, you can edit the forum activity, view the activity report, make it active or inactive, and delete the activity.
- From the forum activity options, you can view the number of completed, incomplete, not started, failed, daily, weekly, and monthly users on the view report page and download the report.
- You can contribute by participating in the forum activity by clicking the go to the forum button in the middle of the forum activity card.
Use of Forum Activity
- After viewing the forum activity card in the middle area of the course content page, they can contribute by participating in the forum activity by clicking the go to forum button in the middle of the forum activity card.
- Can view the messages and images on the forum page.
- After typing a forum message in the "you can join the discussion by writing your reply" text box at the bottom right of the forum page, you can add a forum message by clicking the submit button at the top right of the text box.
- Messages written in the forum message section on the forum page; Heading 1, heading 2, normal, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, citation, number bullet, sign bullet, indent, indent, add formula, add links, and use the clear styles button.
- He can send emojis and files in the forum message section on the forum page.
- On the forum page, it can rate other users' posts.
- On the forum page, you can reply to other users' messages.
- On the forum page, he can quote other users' messages.
- They can delete and edit their own messages on the forum page.
4.1.2. Survey Activity

Adding Survey Activity
- After clicking the plus button at the top left of the course content page, they can click the poll button to display the window for creating a new poll activity.
- On the Add a survey activity page, on the Location Selection tab, you can select one, multiple, and all branches and click the continue button.
- On the content tab of the add a survey activity page , they can enter the activity name, description (instructor's note), schedule (publish by week or publish by date), activity completion criteria (completion), and last completion date and click the continue button.
- On the page for adding a survey activity , they can ensure that the activity is always listed at the top in the week (unit, module...) in which the activity will be found, and add a prerequisite for the completion of the added activity depending on the completion of another activity.
- On the page for adding a survey activity, you can click the save button on the settings tab to publish the activity passively.
- On the survey questions tab of the survey activity adding page, you can save the questions by adding the survey name, title, description, single-choice question with option, multi-choice question with option, open-ended question and matrix question and ensure that the survey is actively published.
Survey Activity Card
- Can view the poll activity card in the middle area of the course content page.
- You can change the activity name by clicking on the activity name at the top left of the survey activity card.
- At the bottom left of the survey activity card, the instructor can view the grade (description) section.
- At the top right of the survey activity card, it can display that the activity type is a survey.
- Hover over the calendar icon, if available, at the top right of the survey activity card, to view the last completion date of the survey activity.
- Hover over the progress percentage circle at the top right of the survey activity card to view the survey activity completion criteria and the number of completions.
- By clicking on the three notes at the top right of the survey activity card, they can edit the survey activity, view the activity report, make it active or inactive, and delete the activity.
- From the survey activity options, you can view the number of completed, incomplete, not started, failed, daily, weekly, and monthly users on the view report page, and download survey activity reports.
- By clicking the view survey button in the middle of the survey activity card, they can view the texts and questions they have added to the survey activity.
Use of Survey Activity
- After viewing the survey activity card in the middle area of the course content page, they can click the view survey button in the middle of the survey activity card to view the texts and questions added to the survey activity.
4.1.3. Virtual Classroom Activity
Access: Top Menu > My Courses (Go to My Courses) / Home (My Courses > All) Clicking on the name of the course listed on the > page > Course Page > Course Content > Syllabus > Add Activity (plus "+") >Virtual Classroom Activity
Addition of Virtual Classroom Activity
- After clicking the plus button at the top left of the course content page, they can click the virtual classroom button to view the window for creating a new virtual classroom activity.
- On the branch selection tab of the virtual classroom activity add page , they can select one, multiple, and all branches and click the continue button.
- On the content tab of the virtual classroom activity adding page , the activity name, description (instructor's note), virtual classroom file, schedule (week-based broadcasting or publication by date), start date, start time, activity duration, preparation time, recordability feature of the session, activity ending criteria (live participation, live or archive participation, live viewing rate, live or replay rate) and last completion date can be entered and click the continue button.
- The page for adding a virtual classroom activity can ensure that the activity is always listed at the top in the week (unit, module...) in which the activity will be available on the settings tab, and can add a prerequisite for the completion of the added activity depending on the completion of another activity.
- On the page for adding a virtual classroom activity, you can click the save button on the settings tab to publish the activity.
Virtual classroom Activity Card
- In the middle area of the course content page, the virtual classroom can view the activity card.
- You can change the activity name by clicking on the activity name at the top left of the virtual classroom activity card.
- On the virtual classroom activity card, under the name of the activity, it can display the date when the activity will start, the time the activity will start, the duration of the activity, the time remaining until the virtual classroom starts, the join button if the virtual classroom has started, and the watch again button if the virtual classroom has been completed.
- At the bottom left of the virtual classroom activity card, the instructor can view the grade (description) section.
- At the top right of the virtual classroom activity card, it can show that the activity type is virtual classroom.
- At the top right of the virtual classroom activity card, hover over the calendar icon, if any, to view the last completion date of the virtual classroom activity.
- By hovering over the progress percentage circle at the top right of the virtual classroom activity card, the virtual classroom activity can view the completion criteria and the number of completions.
- By clicking on the three notes at the top right of the virtual classroom activity card, they can edit the virtual classroom activity, view the activity report, make it active or inactive, and delete the activity.
- From the virtual classroom activity options, you can view the number of completed, incomplete, not started, failed, daily, weekly, and monthly users on the view report page, and download virtual classroom activity reports (statistical attendance report, session statistics report, and attendance report).
- By clicking the view virtual classroom button in the middle of the virtual classroom activity card, he/she can view the texts and questions added to the virtual classroom activity.
Use of Virtual Classroom Activity
- In the middle area of the course content page, the virtual classroom can view the activity card, the time when the activity will start if it has not started, the join activity button if it has started, and the watch button again if it has finished.
- After viewing the virtual classroom activity card in the middle area of the course content page, they can join the virtual classroom activity by clicking the join button in the middle of the virtual classroom activity card and watch the virtual classroom replay by clicking the watch again button.
4.1.4. Link Activity
Access: Top Menu > My Courses (Go to My Courses) / Home (My Courses > All) Clicking on the name of the course listed on the > page > Course Page > Course Content > Syllabus > Add Activity (plus "+") > Link Activity
Adding Link Activity
- After clicking the plus button at the top left of the course content page, they can click the link button to view the window for creating a new link activity.
- On the link activity page location selection tab, you can select one, multiple and all branches and click the continue button.
- On the content tab of the link activity adding page , they can click the continue button by entering the link producer selection (None or Microsoft Teams Meeting Link), url (link, link), activity name, description (instructor's note), timing (week-based publishing or publishing by date) and activity completion criteria (viewing).
- The Add link activity page can ensure that the activity is always listed at the top in the week (unit, module...) in which the activity will be found in the settings tab, and can add a prerequisite for the completion of the activity it has added depending on the completion of another activity.
- Adding a link activity can publish the activity by clicking the save button on the settings tab of the page.
Link Activity Card
- In the middle area of the course content page, the link can display the activity card.
- Link can change the activity name by clicking on the activity name at the top left of the activity card.
- The link can display the default image, favicon image, and link address of the link added under the activity name on the activity card.
- At the top right of the link activity card, it can show that the activity type is link.
- By hovering over the progress percentage circle at the top right of the link activity card, the link activity can display the completion criteria and the number of completions.
- By clicking on the three notes at the top right of the link activity card, you can edit the link activity, view the activity report, make it active or inactive, and delete the activity.
- From the link activity options, you can view the number of completed, incomplete, not started, failed, daily, weekly and monthly users on the view report page and download the link activity report.
- By clicking the go to address button at the bottom right of the link activity card, it can display the link added to the link activity in a new tab.
Use of Link Activity
- After viewing the link activity card in the middle area of the course content page, you can click the go to address button at the bottom right of the link activity card to view the link added to the activity in a new tab.
4.1.5. Homework Activity
Access: Top Menu > My Courses (Go to My Courses) / Home (My Courses > All) Clicking on the name of the course listed on the > page > Course Page > Course Content > Syllabus > Add Activity (plus "+") > Homework Activity
Adding an Assignment Activity
- After clicking the plus button at the top left of the course content page, they can click the assignment button to display the window for creating a new assignment activity.
- On the assignment activity page adding page, on the branch selection tab, they can select one, multiple, and all branches and click the continue button.
- On the content tab of the homework activity adding page , the activity name, description (instructor's note), file upload, selecting file from the archive, activity start date, deadline, schedule (week-based publishing or publication by date), file upload right and activity completion criteria (viewing, grading, file upload) can be entered and click the continue button.
- On the settings tab, the Add an assignment activity page can ensure that the activity is always listed at the top in the week (unit, module...) in which it will be found, and can add a prerequisite for the activity to be completed depending on the completion of another activity.
- By activating the create special for students feature on the settings tab of the homework activity adding page, it can create a special assignment for a certain group of students by removing the students from the students assigned to the assignment.
- On the Add an assignment activity page, you can click the save button on the settings tab to publish the activity.
Homework Activity Card
- Can view the assignment activity card in the middle area of the course content page.
- You can change the activity name by clicking on the activity name at the top left of the assignment activity card.
- The assignment activity card can display file upload, graded, uploader, start time, and end time under the activity name.
- The assignment activity card can download files by clicking the download buttons for the files listed in the attached files section.
- At the bottom left of the assignment activity card, they can view the instructor grade (description) section.
- At the top right of the homework activity card, it can display that the activity type is homework.
- Hover over the progress percentage circle at the top right of the homework activity card to view the homework activity completion criteria and the number of completions.
- By clicking on the three notes at the top right of the assignment activity card, they can edit the assignment activity, view the activity report, make it active or inactive, and delete the activity.
- From the assignment activity options, you can view the number of completed, incomplete, not started, failed, daily, weekly, and monthly users on the view report page, and download assignment activity reports.
- On the grade page from the assignment activity options; It can view the student list, sort the student list (total participants, file uploaded, non-file, not graded), download the assignment files uploaded by the students individually or in bulk (selected branch or all branches), check the assignment files for plagiarism, and grade students individually or collectively.
4.1.6. E-Course Activity
Access: Top Menu > My Courses (Go to My Courses) / Home (My Courses > All) Clicking on the name of the course listed on the > page > Course Page > Course Content > Syllabus > Add Activity (plus "+") > E-Course Activity
Addition of E-Course Activity
- After clicking the plus button at the top left of the course content page, they can click the e-course button to view the window for creating a new e-course activity.
- On the branch selection tab of the e-Course activity adding page , they can select one, more than one and all branches and click the continue button.
- On the content tab of the e-Course activity adding page , the activity name, description (instructor's note), file upload, selecting file from the archive, timing (week-based publishing or publishing by date), e-course type, activity completion criteria (viewing, completion, grading and monitoring time) and last completion date information can be entered and click the continue button.
- On the e-Course activity addition page, in the settings tab, it can ensure that the activity is always listed at the top in the week (unit, module...) in which it will be located, allow the activity file to be downloaded, and add a prerequisite for the completion of the added activity depending on the completion of another activity.
- Adding an e-Course activity can publish the activity by clicking the save button on the settings tab of the page.
E-Course Activity Card
- You can view the e-course activity card in the middle area of the course content page.
- You can change the activity name by clicking on the activity name at the top left of the e-Course activity card.
- At the bottom left of the e-Course activity card, the instructor can view the note (description) section.
- On the top right of the e-Course activity card, it can see that the activity type is e-lesson.
- On the top right of the e-course activity card, if any, you can hover over the calendar icon and view the last completion date of the e-lesson activity.
- By hovering over the progress percentage circle at the top right of the e-Course activity card, you can view the e-course activity completion criteria and the number of completions.
