      Constructor LMS Release 102

      Overview

      In this sprint we worked mostly on under the hood tasks to enable messaging hub.

      Additionally, we have implemented several fixes and improvements to enhance user experience and worked on implementation of Communication hub for class announcements….

      Improvements and fixes

      Improvements

      • Introduced “full-screen” view and scrolls for embedded tables in Media-blocks

      • Showing size of the attachment file for media-blocks

      Fixes

      • Fixed an issue, when editing custom reports views, these edits could affect other reports.

      • It’s now possible to finish an activity with a draft “optional” activity

      • When the course’s max score is achieved, the course doesn’t finish and the “finish the course” popup was shown. The pop-up was eliminated, the toast “The course was finished” on the “about” the course page was introduced

      • Primary report doesn’t show “payment required” anymore

      • Score is now shown in “Course finished” standard email notifications for learner

      • Grade is no more shown in email notifications unless any grading scale is applied for the course

      • We’ve fixed an issue when TOC was shown for one-page compositions if selected Tiled view

      • Activity type is now a filter for instructors in scheduler

      • We’ve fixed an issue when scheduler was not accepting any values after the validation errors

      • The process of uploading vimeo videos is improved. Now the content is shown when upload process is finished

      • The cancel button is introduced on the re-upload the video screen so that user can go back to the video properties

      • Certificates builder can now accept large images

      • Reset button now works correctly on the “create the report” page

      • If user changes to “embedded” for SCORMs, “Maximize / Minimize” option is enabled by default

      • Correct score is displayed in course properties and popups when any attempts were revoked

      • If the file is inserted to the “About the course page”, its size is shown correctly

      #Known issues

      • Size of attached files are shown only for freshly uploaded files

      • A new toggle cannot be created within a toggle.

      • New members cannot be added to a newly created team without refreshing the screen.

      • The date and time selector sometimes does not fit on the screen in Reports.

      • When signing out from Avatar, a user is not signed out from LMS.

      • External links to cover images cannot be edited.

      • SCORMs cannot be archived

      • Error 401 occurs after an upload of a SCORM package is canceled and the second upload attempt is initiated. The page refresh is necessary to initiate the upload.

      • Settings applied for a specific SCORM version are not appropriately distinguished.

      • The “Not found” text is displayed when a learner attempts to start a quiz with a due date in the past.

      • The Customize Default View setting does not apply to the Collections filter.
