Overview
We're excited to introduce these new features:
-
Collaborative assignments and splitting classes
-
Implementation of WCAG Level A standards support
We’ve finalized the feature that enables learners to participate in group discussions. We also have implemented several important accessibility features in compliance with WCAG Level A standards. We’ve continued working on supporting scheduled assignments in the calendar, which will be available in future releases.
What's new
Collaborative assignments and splitting classes
Now authors and instructors can create group activities for learners to work on together. For this purpose, we've introduced the class splitting feature. It allows instructors to create classes for activities and split them into mini-groups for effective collaborative work on shared tasks.
Learners can see all members of their mini-group, start activities for the entire group, and submit work on behalf of the group. Instructors can then assess the submission and grade all group members accordingly.
Implementation of WCAG Level A standards support
We have implemented several important accessibility features in compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level A standards as a part of our ongoing efforts to make our platform more inclusive and user-friendly:
-
Proper Page Headers: All pages now have correctly indicated headers, improving screen reader compatibility.
-
Enhanced Keyboard Navigation:
-
Tab Navigation: Users can now navigate through the platform more efficiently using the Tab key, which ensures all interactive elements are accessible.
-
Eliminated Navigation Traps: We’ve removed navigation traps to allow users to move freely without getting stuck in any specific section.
-
-
"Skip to Main Content" Option: We’ve added a "Skip to Main Content" link that allows users to bypass repetitive navigation elements and quickly access the main content of the page.
Improvements
-
We have removed unnecessary items from the widget for Video and Survey activities to prevent user confusion.
-
Authors can now upload SCORM files up to 500 MB.
Fixes
